Adolescents/Teens: Our pottery classes for ages 10-12, 11-14, and 13-17 are designed for students to develop their skills in both wheel-throwing and hand-building. Students will learn techniques in shaping, decorating, and glazing pottery, giving them the tools to express their creativity with clay. They’ll also have the opportunity to glaze their pieces in the final class. 

Youth: For young creators, this pottery class introduces kids ages 8-10 (age 7 with instructor permission) to the fundamentals of sculpture and hand-building with clay. Over the course of 4-6 creative pottery projects, students will explore their artistic side, developing skills in shaping, sculpting, and decorating clay by hand. Pieces will be carefully glazed and fired by staff.
