Every Spring, Follow Your Art Community Studios (FYACS) celebrates its students with an exhibition of their work in The Gallery. It’s a full circle moment, seeing work on the walls that was created in the classrooms of the Big Yellow House.
In early April, Follow Your Art held the opening of its annual student show, which celebrates the work of students of all ages and across all programs at FYACS. Visitors get to peek into the skills explored in visual arts and pottery classes offered at Follow Your Art, with works from recent youth and adult programs.

For many students, this is the first time they have seen their works showcased in public. “It’s really special to how proud people are, especially young children, when they see their artwork in this show,” shared Gallery Coordinator, Instructor, and Artist in Residence Sara Gravante.

The Student Show is just one of the exhibitions and sales that are held throughout the year in the Gallery in our front parlor. Gallery shows include juried artist shows, member and artist in resident shows, as well as special themed exhibits, and there is a beloved Artisan Market held every December.
The Gallery is on the accessible first floor of Follow Your Art at 647 Main Street, and is open to the public anytime the building is open. You can check out the list of past and upcoming exhibitions or sign up for our newsletter to be notified of future Gallery shows and opening receptions.
