We are rolling out a new registration system and are hopeful that this change will make the experience of signing up for classes much smoother!
We will completely transition to the new system for Winter I registration, which begins on Friday, December 6, 2024.
Things you’ll notice
- An easier to navigate one-stop-shop for classes, workshops, events, concerts, etc.
- Memberships purchased in Sawyer will auto-renew by default. If you choose not to renew your membership, you can cancel it through your Sawyer account and it will remain active for the remainder of the paid period.
- There will be a transaction fee of $3.99 on total cart purchases over $100 and a $1.99 fee on total cart purchases over $30. This fee goes directly to the new platform and we cannot control it. The fee does not apply to future recurring charges such as automatic billing, payment plans, and membership fees. Also does not apply to parties, memberships, or gift cards. You can bypass this fee by registering in person and paying with cash/check. This is subject to staff availability. Please call ahead.
- We will not be raising prices for classes as a result of this fee. Our fees for programs have been the same since 2019, despite increasing supply, utility and staffing costs.
Create your account
Even if you have taken classes at Follow Your Art Community Studios before, you will need to create a new account.
Click here for the account creation page. Enter an email and password. There are 2 checkboxes underneath these fields:
- The first checkbox will opt you in or out of communications from FYACS, including our weekly newsletter, notifications of upcoming events, and registration windows.
- The second will opt you in or out of additional communications from Sawyer (these are marketing emails sent directly from Sawyer about their services or other programs, NOT FYA emails).
- Even if you opt out of both, you will still receive confirmation emails and communications regarding programs you have registered for.
Click Welcome and then Manage Account. Fill out your profile information, then click Profiles in the top bar. Click Add Profiles, select child/adult and fill out information for each family member who will be registering for programs.
Winter I registration opens on Friday, December 6 and will be exclusively on this new registration platform.
Information for members
- All active memberships have been closed and need to be repurchased on the new platform. If you had time remaining on your membership, you will be issued a credit, in the form of a Promo Code, equal to the value of the remaining period that can be applied to a new membership. See your email for your individual code, which expires December 31, 2025.
- Member discounts are not automatically applied. When registering for programs, use the members-only code MEMBER10 at checkout to receive your member discount. This code will not work unless you have an active FYACS membership. Member discounts cannot be applied retroactively and partial refunds will not be issued.
- Under the new system, memberships will auto-renew by default and the payment method on file will be charged. Membership can be cancelled from your account, and your membership will remain active for the paid period.

I need details about my child’s registration for tax purposes
- Access to our old platform will be discontinued in early 2025. If you need any documentation from past class registrations, contact info@fyamelrose.org by January 15, 2025.
