Deadline to apply for the Foundation Trust 2022 BIPOC Writer Fellowship is October 15
MELROSE, MA July 19, 2021—Follow Your Art Community Studios (FYACS) is accepting applications for a teaching and writing fellowship that celebrates and supports the work of a BIPOC writer. The one-year fellowship will award $5,000 to a published writer and writing instructor who self-identifies as Black, indigenous, or person of color (BIPOC).
“We’ve partnered with FYACS since it opened in 2019 to support emerging visual artists,” said Dr. Joseph Spinazzola, Executive Director of the Foundation Trust. “We’re excited about expanding our partnership by providing a fellowship to support the work of a BIPOC writer and to champion a diversity of voices in this community.”
