Sculpture

In this class we’ll do a more in depth exploration of what makes a sculpture, take our time with thoughtful planning, and push boundaries with the medium. Wire, plaster, wood, and found objects will all come into play, and thinking bigger and bolder is the name of the game! Students will practice larger sculptures with scaled mock-ups, learn how to engineer 2D sketches into a 3D reality, and balance art elements like form and color.
This is a 6-week class, running 10/30-12/05.
