Make Your Own Storybook
April 11 @ 2:45 pm – 3:45 pm
In this seven-week class, we will learn the fundamentals of writing an engaging story and transform our imagined stories into illustrated, mixed-media storybooks. Using items including aluminum foil, pieces of fabric, book pages, leaves, magazine cut-outs, and sequins, we will bring to life stories in which mermaids uncover glittering mysteries, flashlights illuminate the future, and kids possess the power to step into video games (among an infinite array of story possibilities). By the end of the program, each young writer/artist will take home their own completed and bound storybook, ready to share with the world.
This is a 7-week class, running 2/29-4/11
