Hand-building Ceramics (Monday class)
October 23 @ 2:45 pm – 3:45 pm
8-10 year old potters will learn and practice the basics of hand-building with clay – pinching, coiling, and slab-building – through a series of creative pottery projects. Students will also learn basic decorating techniques such as imprinting and underglazing.
Age Group: Only students in the age range listed in the course title are eligible for enrollment. Students who do not meet the age criteria must contact firstname.lastname@example.org to ask for permission to participate.
Note: The Monday and Tuesday curriculum is the same.
Additional Information: Classes must have 4 enrolled to run. Instruction, materials, glazing, and firing costs included in the fee. All student pieces will be glazed clear and fired by staff after the session is completed, and pieces will be ready for pick-up approximately 4 weeks after the end of the semester.
