Ceramics: Wheel-throwing & Hand-building (Thursday class)
October 5 @ 4:00 pm – 5:45 pm
In this 1.75 hour per week ceramics class, our adolescent potters will learn and develop their skills at wheel-throwing (centering, pulling, and shaping), hand-building, and decorating pottery using techniques like imprinting, underglazing, and carving.
Age Group: Only students in the age range listed (Age 10-12) are eligible for enrollment. Students who do not meet the age criteria must contact firstname.lastname@example.org to ask for permission to participate.
Note: The Monday and Thursday curriculum is the same.
Additional Information: Classes must have 4 enrolled to run. Instruction, materials, glazing, and firing costs included in the fee. All student pieces will be glazed clear and fired by staff after the session is completed, and pieces will be ready for pick-up approximately 4 weeks after the end of the semester.
