Our Clay Studio is OPEN this Summer for middle schoolers and high schoolers, grades 6-12!
It’s time to throw clay!
Interested in having a few spins on the potter’s wheel this summer? Come to The Ceramics Studio to learn and practice basic wheel throwing skills. You will also learn some decorative and finishing techniques like stamping, using colored slips, water etching, slip trailing, using paper resist stencils, sgraffito, mishima, and carving. There will also be a different hand-building project each week. Beginners welcome, with plenty of opportunities for advancement if you come multiple weeks. Bring a small notebook to take notes and sketch ideas!
