Everyone has a story. In this workshop participants will have the opportunity to work on developing a compelling story from start to finish. The first class will focus on what makes a good story and how to find the stories in your own life. The second class students will have the opportunity to workshop their story, interact with their peers and give feedback. The final session will be a storytelling showcase for the Melrose community. The final class will be a performance for family and friends on 11/14.
This was SO much fun! We’ll be doing it again in the winter, stay tuned!
Wet felting uses friction, water, and wool fiber to create a truly unique piece of fabric. Workshop participants will choose to create a wet felted wall hanging or cushion. This workshop is appropriate for ages 11 and up, making it a great opportunity for families to create together, or try something new!
Alcohol ink is a fast-drying medium that can be used on any non-porous surface. In this class, you will learn techniques to manipulate these brilliantly-colored inks onto white tiles as either a structured painting or a free form design to accent your home.
